Kathmandu. Synergy Power Development Limited is going to invest in two hydropower projects. The company has decided to invest in Madhya Hongu Khola 'A' and Madhya Hongu Khola 'B'.
The company's board of directors meeting held on Tuesday evening decided to invest shares worth Rs 250 million in two projects. The company has decided to invest shares worth Rs 110 million in Apex Makalu Hydropower Limited, which will be worth Rs 110 million, and shares worth Rs 140 million in Gaurishankar Power Development Limited, which will be worth Rs 140 million.
Synergy has already invested Rs 442.744 crore in shares in Apex. With the decision to invest an additional Rs 110 million, Synergy's total share investment in Apex will reach Rs 552.744 crore.
It is said that electricity generation from both projects will begin this fiscal year.
